Welcome to Formae Divinae

Formae Divinae, meaning “Divine Forms” in Latin, is a blog where I offer reflections of the Divine I have encountered through various forms of media: photography (“Visio”), poetry (“Carmina”), food (“Cibis”), sermons (“Oratio”), reflections on readings of the Bible (“Lectio”), reflections on rest and self-care (“Requiem”), as well as other stories from my travels (“Peregrinantem”) and daily life (“Fabulas”).  It is my hope while you are here you, too, encounter the beauty, mystery and compassion of the Divine.

  1. So glad I found this finally!!! Thanks for sharing! This is beautiful. Particularly love the pictures and thoughts from Israel. I was able to go in ’98 and ’99 and miss it so much!
